Sugar's Spice

Sugar reached a small hand into her pouch. Being a marsupial, on her stomach. She pulled a small baby. It had barely any fur, but she loved it. "Who's my little baby boy?" She teased. He stuck out his tongue and giggled. She was sitting on a tree stump. "MAY! MAY MAY!" Cried humans from the distance. she shushed her baby and put him back in her pouch. "They're looking for me..." Sugar's previous owners didn't know Sugar's limits. Smuggling her and squeezing her isn't smart. And her "playmate"... He was another Sugar glider, just like her. He was mean, and he was a good friend, until he wanted to take care of her baby all on his own. He thought their baby was taking up their time. Sugar knew he'd take her dear son and kill him. He was little enough. "May!" Cried the owners. Sugar needed a place to live! She climbed a tree with excellent speed, and hid as high a possible. She ate a couple grubs and settled in a small space, small enough. She snugly fit herself in a nice spot, then her floor broke in! She was falling, then she turned on her back and spread out her arms. She lifted up, and continued falling down at a nice speed. Her son wriggled out of the pouch. "Mama!"  He said. He opened his wings, and flew up in the air. "Honey!" squeaked Sugar. Her son came falling down, with stuff all over his fur. Sugar caught him. -She landed with a thump on a nice mushroom. Her son was stained. "Spice! Spice!" He yelled, and then he sneezed. Sugar wiped the dirt of his coat. "Yes. Spice! I'll name you Spice!" Sugar exclaimed. Then, in small hollows of the trees, murmuring sounds awoken and about twenty or more Sugar gliders appeared, along with tiny bugs. All the sugar gliders stared in amazement. A small, white one exclaimed, "Welcome to HollowTown!" "Strawberry!" Scolded her mother. Sugar gliders of all pelts flew down from the hollows, and bugs too. It was like a furry and sparkly and colorful show of beauty. Spice and Sugar stood in amazement. Now they where all down, it didn't look like there was too many other Sugar Gliders. Everyone stood in a line. A fruit bat flew down from above and gave everyone a happy glance. "I'm glad everyone knows the drill. Begin!" He said. First, a creamy yellow sugar glider and a brown striped one stood. "I'm mud and this is my wife Cream, were the Mudcreams." He said. They then walked away. A new set of three came, one a reddish white and was very small and kind of pink, a fox colored one, and a white one. "I'm Snow," said the white one, "this is my wife Cherry and our daughter Strawberry. We are the Snowcherries." He finished. "Hi!" Strawberry piped up to Spice. "Hi.." Spice said, awkwardly waving. Cherry took Strawberry's hand and led her away. A new pair of two arrived. It was a grey striped male and a smaller black striped male. "I'm Ash and this is my son, Ember. We're the Ashhearts. my wife, Heart, died a long time ago." He said. Ember sighed and they walked away in silence. A family of pure whites came up. "Hi, I'm Fur, this is my husband Cloud, and our children. the bigger  female is Sky, the female with the bigger eyes and smaller body is Dahlia, the male with black ears is Drift, and out last son who is white with grey stripes is Jay. He's an antisocial runt from another family that couldn't take him." Said the female. "I guess they're too young to play, huh Spice?" Asked the Sugar. "Far too, yes. And we are the Furclouds. Said Cloud. Next came a pump family of five. Hello, I'm Pig," said the plump female, "this is my husband Meat," she said, motioning to a small, chubby reddish male, "this is Bacon," she said, motioning to a young reddish male. "this is Egg," she squeaked, looking at a small white baby girl with cream colored dots, "and this, this is Butter. He doesn't eat much." She growled. She seemed annoyed with "Butter", Sugar assumed. "We are the Pigmeats." She scowled, and waddled away. A family of beautiful Sugar Gliders appeared. They where fit and pretty. "I'm Gold," said a creamy and shiny male, "This is my wife, Fairy," He said, looking at a white beautiful Sugar Glider with a flower tucked behind her ear. "This is the family friend living with us, Flight," He sad, looking a a stunningly pretty light grey fox with a blue eye and an orange one. She was not perfect, and was more tomboyish. "And this is our daughter, Bunny." He said, looking at a small snow white girl glided from behind them. She has no spots on her fur and was only a little smaller than Spice. She has very large ears and a stubby tail. "She had her tail caught under her bunk bed when it fell." Fairy said sadly. Flight looked down and mumbled something under he breath to Spice, and he clapped and whispered in her ear something. She stood up and looked at Sugar. "I moved in here a couple days ago. I'm thinking of getting a job, but I have no idea what to do. I could be a babysitter if you want." She said. "Oh that would be great!" Sugar exclaimed. "What is money where..?" She said. Gold looked at the hole in a rock. "Some people get homes in the mine and mine in their home. I do that with my family." He said. "I'd love that." Sugar said joyfully. "That's it!" The fruit bat exclaimed. I'm Mayor Moon, but everyone calls me Moon. You can call me whatever. We have many homes, and I'll give you a pamphlet." He gave Sugar a pamplet to look at on homes and flew away. Everyone scurried to their rooms, and Sugar was left to decide what home to choose. In the background, Flight was talking to Ash.
